Marty Barons

Marty Barons is a Sr. Environmental Engineer with extensive experience in environmental site assessment and remediation projects. Currently employed at GHD since August 2021, Marty previously held similar senior roles at WSP in Canada from August 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities included team leadership in contaminated lands and environmental engineering. Marty began the career at CH2M from March 2006 to July 2016, focusing on project oversight, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Earlier roles included Project Coordinator at Genesis, where client relationships and building designs were managed, and Project Manager at C3 Environmental, emphasizing construction monitoring and remediation efforts. Marty holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned in 2003.
