Mat Brook

Mat Brook is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental impact assessments and management. Currently serving as Technical Director for Assessment and Approvals at GHD since April 2018, Mat previously led environmental impact assessments as Principal at Strategen Environmental Consultants from July 2008 to April 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as Post Graduate Research Assistant at the Regional Development Research Centre of Yunnan University, where involvement focused on natural resource management and rural livelihood support from March 2007 to March 2008. Mat began career as an English Language Teacher at Nova from 2005 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Murdoch University, a Master's in International Politics from the University of Tasmania, and Bachelor’s degrees in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Tasmania, and Science from Monash University.
