Matthew Armstrong

Matthew Armstrong is a Senior Engineering Geologist and Mining Geoscience Team Leader at GHD, based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia, since August 2019. Previously, Matthew served as a Senior Geologist at Batchfire Resources, leading on-site geological teams and contributing to long-term mine strategies from January 2017 to June 2019. Earlier roles include managing coal pit mining operations and logistics, serving as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Auckland's Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, and running Matthew Armstrong Geological Services, where services were focused on the Queensland coal mining industry.
