Matthew Barkley

Matthew Barkley serves as the Sustainability Advisory Lead for the Americas at GHD, where responsibilities include developing business strategy, team alignment, and overseeing the success of the Sustainability Practice across North and South America since January 2020. In prior roles at GHD, including Executive Advisor for North American Decarbonization and Private Sector Market Lead, Matthew provided economic advisory services aimed at optimizing asset management and resource allocation. Before joining GHD, Matthew spent over 14 years at Arcadis, where roles spanned from Competitive Intelligence Lead to Principal and Senior Economist, focusing on enhancing economic advisory services. Matthew holds a Master of Environmental Management in Natural Resource Economics from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geology from Miami University.
