Matthew Batbouta, P.E., is an experienced fire protection engineer with a robust background that spans over two decades. Currently serving as Associate Principal and Team Leader in Fire Protection Engineering & Life Safety at GHD, Matthew has been with the company since its acquisition of The Protection Engineering Group in April 2014, where Matthew previously held the position of Senior Project Manager. Prior to joining GHD, Matthew worked as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer and Project Manager at The Protection Engineering Group, and also held roles at Eyak Technology, LLC, and Gage Babcock & Associates. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
