Matthew Stanbrook

Matthew Stanbrook is a biologist currently employed at GHD since August 2025, following a role as an environmental scientist with Strum Consulting from August 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included managing off-grid solar avian radar systems and conducting bird strike mortality surveys for wind farms. Previous experiences feature positions as a junior environmental scientist and president of Acadia Students' Union, advocating for student interests at various governmental levels. Matthew has also worked as a water quality technician and research assistant in entomology with Environment and Climate Change Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, respectively. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & History from Acadia University, obtained in May 2022.
