Monty Lang

Monty Lang is a Technical Director at GHD, specializing in major projects within the transport and energy sectors, with a strong focus on Independent Certification and Verification. Since joining GHD in 2006, Monty has served in various roles, including Independent Certifier for the Central West Orana REZ and Project EnergyConnect, and has acted as Contract Manager for the OTS Independent Certifier on the $8.5 billion Sydney Metro Northwest project. Monty's background also includes managing the Industry & Resources Service Group and delivering key projects in the resources sector as a Senior Project Engineer. Prior experience includes a Project Management Officer role at Société Générale, focusing on project controls for an investment banking outsourcing initiative. Monty holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering from The Australian National University.
