Neil Holt

Neil Holt is a seasoned professional in the railway systems sector, currently serving as a Senior Technical Director and Engineering Director for Sydney Metro at GHD since January 2019. In this role, Neil is responsible for overseeing comprehensive railway configurations and safety outcomes for the Bankstown Line, while leveraging a cross-functional team to address project challenges. Previously, Neil held the position of Rail Systems Manager at John Holland from December 2012 to January 2019, where responsibilities included leading design and construction efforts for the Canberra Metro and New Intercity Fleet Maintenance Facility. Neil's extensive experience also includes significant project management roles at RailCorp, where major projects encompassed signalling, electrification, and communications systems. With a background that began at Bovis Lend Lease as Lead Electrification & Plant Engineer, Neil brings a wealth of expertise in project delivery and systems integration to the railway industry.
