Peter Tonkin

Peter Tonkin is a Technical Director - Structures at GHD Pty Ltd, where they leverage their extensive experience in structural engineering across various building types. They began their career in consulting engineering and added project management skills during the 1990s. Peter has held multiple leadership roles at GHD, including General Manager for the Northern Territory and business responsibility for WA regional offices. Since 2010, they have also been involved in business development initiatives focused on government infrastructure projects and have chaired the Indigenous Employment Action Group in WA to promote employment frameworks for indigenous professionals. Peter earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water and Structures from Curtin University.
