Phil Archer

Phil Archer is currently a Senior Civil Construction Lead at GHD, where they bridge the gap between design and construction across major infrastructure programs in New Zealand and the Pacific. Previously, Phil served as Project Director at Auckland Transport for the AMETI Eastern Busway, managing complex urban transport initiatives while ensuring stakeholder engagement and team collaboration. Earlier roles include Divisional Manager at Fulton Hogan, where they led multiple technical teams and international projects, and Project Manager at Downer, focusing on road design and construction. Phil’s career in civil and environmental engineering began as a Development Chemist at Fletcher Building, followed by several roles in technical services and project management.
