Rowena Briones

Rowena Briones is an accomplished Environmental Engineer with a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Auckland, where their research focused on the fate and behavior of pharmaceuticals in soil-water systems. Prior to their doctoral work, Rowena earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of the Philippines, specializing in wastewater effluent treatment. With over three years of experience as an Environmental Consultant at AECOM, Rowena gained expertise in environmental site assessments and project management within the petroleum and oil sectors. Most recently, Rowena served as a Senior Environmental Scientist at GHD, building on their extensive knowledge in environmental sampling and remediation techniques.
