Ruby Bhave

Ruby Bhave is a dedicated professional focused on climate change, resilience, and sustainability. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in both Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Newcastle, where they also served as a Student Ambassador, Mentor, and Representative from 2016 to 2020. Ruby has held various roles in sustainability consulting, including positions at WSP and currently at GHD as a Senior Sustainability Consultant. They previously contributed to river and water management as an Undergraduate Engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV and supported city resilience projects with Lake Macquarie City Council. Ruby also served as a New Colombo Plan Inaugural Alumni Ambassador for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
