Simon Hansen is a Chartered geotechnical engineer and currently serves as the Technical Director at GHD. They began their career at Atkins in the UK as a Tunnel Engineer before relocating to Australia, where they worked at AECOM as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer from 2010 to 2021. Subsequently, Simon held the position of Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Mott MacDonald from 2021 to 2022. Simon earned a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Leeds between 2001 and 2005 and is a participant at Bootham School.
