Stephen Douglass

Stephen Douglass is the Future Communities Economic Lead for New Zealand Asia Pacific at GHD, where they focus on implementing strategic visions to foster resilient and connected communities. With over 20 years of diverse experience in environmental and engineering projects, they have worked in various capacities, including as a Principal Hydrogeologist at URS Corporation and a Planner/Analyst for the Ministry of Education of New Zealand. Stephen holds a GradDip in Groundwater Management & Hydrogeology from the University of Technology Sydney, an MSc in Geography, and a BSc in Environmental Management from the University of Auckland. In their current role, they seek innovative solutions and engage with clients to enhance community outcomes through infrastructure investments.
