Steve Hammerton is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic projects. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Finance & Strategic Projects at GHD since 2014, Steve also holds the position of Non-Executive Member on the Board Finance Committee. In addition, Steve has been a Senior Adviser and Managing Director at Flagstaff Partners since July 2009. Previously, Steve worked at Merrill Lynch as a Director in Investment Banking from 2001 to 2008 and was a Manager in Corporate Finance at PwC from 1997 to 2001. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University, an Executive MBA from The Wharton School, and qualifications from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, as well as FINSIA.
