Subhankar Biswas

Subhankar Biswas, PhD (Mech. Engg.) MIEAust CPEng NER, has a diverse work experience. Subhankar is currently working as an Engineering Lead - Materials Handling at GHD since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Norton Gold Fields Pty Ltd as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer from April 2022 to the present. Subhankar also worked at Onyx Projects as a Mechanical DEM Engineer from February 2020 to February 2021 and at Jenike & Johanson as a Project Engineer from November 2018 to January 2020.

Subhankar has also contributed to academia, working as a Lecturer at Deakin University from July 2018 to November 2018 and as a Research Fellow from May 2017 to November 2018. Subhankar has previous experience as a Consulting Engineer at TUNRA Bulk Solids from October 2014 to March 2017.
