Tim Gillon is an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in geotechnical and dam engineering. Tim's career includes roles at Trustpower as a Civil Engineer from February 2019 to May 2022, and as a Senior Geotechnical & Dams Engineer at GHD from May 2022 to November 2023. Prior to this, Tim worked at Riley Consultants Ltd as a Geotechnical/Water Resource Engineer from November 2014 to February 2019, where key projects included managing the installation of relief wells at one of New Zealand's largest earth dams. Tim's earlier experience includes positions as a Geotechnical Engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz and as an Intermediate Dam Safety Engineer at Damwatch Engineering Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Civil Engineering from Unitec Institute of Technology and a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering from Massey University.
