Tim Lloyd-Smith

Tim Lloyd-Smith is an experienced professional in energy and resource technologies, currently serving as the Future Energy Study Lead at GHD since May 2023. Previous roles include Future Energy Specialist at Wood, where responsibilities focused on techno-economic modeling and commercialization of various energy technologies, including hydrogen and advanced recycling. Tim has also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge and served as Renewable Strategy Lead at CD Power, where strategic solar-hybrid solutions for remote applications were developed. Additional experience includes project management and engineering roles at PROCOM Consultants and Central Petroleum Ltd. Tim holds an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, a Certificate in New Ventures Leadership from MIT, and dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Law from the University of Queensland.
