Robert Tong

Robert Tong is the Deputy Director for General Human Outreach in the Community Inc. (GHO). The majority of his work experience has been in the non-profit sector working with the intellectually disabled population.

In his current capacity, Robert is the head of the Human Resources Department at GHO. He is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable GHO to recruit, train, and retain a highly motivated and experienced workforce. Robert specializes in recruiting, retention and assisting employees, talent management, staffing, employee benefits, employee relations, policies development and training and development. In addition to his current role, Robert is also responsible to oversee and manage the Medicaid Service Coordination program and the Family Support Services program.

Mr. Tong has a MBA degree in Management from Long Island University and also a BBA degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa. He is PHR certified and has been working in the field of Human Resources for over 28 years.
