Liam Galvin

Liam Galvin has extensive work experience in the software engineering and security fields. Liam began their career at Brightfilter Limited where they worked as a Systems/Security Engineer, building and maintaining a large ecommerce site and supporting customers with web filtering technology. Liam then became self-employed as a Software Engineer before joining Switch Concepts as a Senior Developer, Lead Developer, and eventually Chief Technical Strategist. In 2018, they joined FORM3 as a Senior Engineer, then transitioned to Senior Security Engineer and ultimately Lead Security Engineer. In 2019, they founded tfsec, which was later acquired by Aqua Security in 2021. At Aqua Security, they worked as an Open Source Engineer and later as a Cloud Engineer. Liam is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Ghost Security.

Liam Galvin attended the University of South Wales from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and graduated with Honours.
