Fran Avilés is currently the Lead Game Designer at Ghost Ship Games, having started in this role in 2025. Previously, Fran worked at Ubisoft Paris as a Lead Game Designer and Associate Game Director from 2023 to 2025. Between 2020 and 2023, Fran served as a Game Design Consultant while also holding positions such as Game Director and Lead Game Designer for Kool2Play S.A. during 2021. Fran has an extensive educational background, including a Master's in Game Design from IT-Universitetet i København and a Licentiate degree in Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
