Murphy Michaels is an experienced art professional with a comprehensive background in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Art Director at Ghostpunch Games since March 2019, Murphy also co-owns The One Up, the first arcade bar in Los Angeles, which has gained popularity among locals and celebrities since January 2014. Previous roles include Creative Producer and Production Designer at Deep Studios, External Art Director at Crystal Dynamics/Eidos, and Art Director in External Development at Midway Home Entertainment and Midway Games. Early career contributions include Senior Animator/Character Artist at Ritual Entertainment and Animator at Ionstorm, with foundational work as a CG Artist at Saffire Corp. Over the span of a career beginning in 1994, Murphy has consistently ensured high-quality art direction and collaboration with development teams across various projects.
