Alejandro Perez

Alejandro Perez is a Principal at ghSMART. He advises investors, boards, and executives on their most pressing leadership issues, including executive assessment, leadership coaching and development, and organizational change.

Prior to ghSMART, Alejandro was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where he served Fortune 500 clients in the life sciences and healthcare sector. During his time at Deloitte, Alejandro specialized in delivering strategies across the inorganic growth spectrum: from M&A strategy and pre-deal planning, through deal execution and post-deal organizational design and transformation. Additionally, he facilitated leadership development sessions with client executives, helping them chart and prioritize their professional and personal aspirations. In addition to client work, Alejandro led multiple recruiting and professional development initiatives, including advising the Deloitte M&A and Restructuring Services board on alternative talent and service delivery models.

Alejandro graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics and Government and earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a concentration in Enterprise Management.
