Emma Smith

Emma Smith is the Compliance Specialist at ghSMART. She is responsible for ongoing and additional compliance initiatives as they relate to legal, finance and technology, internal processes and various business needs.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Emma worked in the staffing industry at The Intersect Group as a Consultant Engagement Manager. She supported both internal colleagues and active consultants on assignment. Prior to The Intersect Group, she was a Corporate Recruiter/HR Specialist for Nuance Communications. While there, she helped develop the recruiting model used company wide and was responsible for recruiting and retaining top talent for clientele across the United States.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations with a double concentration in Employment Law and Collective Bargaining. Emma enjoys live music, comedy shows, and binge watching her favorite documentaries.
