Will Roddy

Will Roddy is a Principal at ghSMART. He works with investors, boards, and corporate clients to pursue their most significant leadership priorities, including leadership assessment, development and coaching, succession planning, and organisational change and effectiveness.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Will was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in London and Sydney, where he supported clients across industries on transformation and organisation topics. He focussed particularly on coaching senior leaders on the processes, behaviours and mindsets needed to implement large-scale change in organisations. As a core member of McKinsey’s transformation practice, he led research into the successful ingredients of a strategic transformation.

Before joining McKinsey, Will spent several years working in various UK Government departments, advising the Prime Minister, Chancellor and senior Ministers on topics from the Northern Ireland peace process to pensions tax and UK-China relations. He holds a first-class degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, and lives with his partner in Manchester, where he is a season ticket holder at Manchester City Football Club.
