Thomas Biel

Thomas Biel is an experienced professional in the healthcare and military sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Service Line Advisor at GHX since January 2017, Thomas has held various roles, including Service Line Advisor and Medical Device Specialist. Concurrently, Thomas has been with the Army National Guard since August 2015, holding positions such as Division Medical Plans Officer and Battalion Medical Operations Officer. Prior to GHX, Thomas worked as a Research Assistant at the Molecular, Cellular, and Tissue Biomechanics Laboratory, where research focused on actomyosin networks, resulting in a publication in the Royal Society of Chemistry's Soft Matter. Additionally, experience includes a Research Assistant role at the Purdue Cardiovascular Imaging Research Laboratory, studying maternal exercise effects on porcine health, and an internship at Porter Memorial Hospital exploring surgical pricing. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University in 2015.
