Mathijs Ruikes

Mathijs Ruikes is an experienced consultant currently working at Gi Group since February 2024. Prior to this role, Mathijs served as an IT Recruitment Consultant at Sterrk and as a Recruitment Consultant at The Preferred Supplier, covering finance and IT positions. Previous experiences include positions in the hospitality sector, such as F&B Supervisor at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin and allround F&B associate roles at the same hotel and Hotel Okura Amsterdam. Mathijs also worked as a Customer Relations Agent at New10 and as a Daily Banking Advisor at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Stenden Hogeschool Leeuwarden and an International Hospitality Management degree from Roc Mondriaan College Den Haag. Mathijs has also held the position of Secretary of the Board of Directors at the student association Io Vivat Nostrorum Sanitas, managing communication with members and stakeholders.
