Tom Takada currently serves as the Director for the Japan regional office at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) since November 2018, overseeing management and strategic execution. Previously, Tom held director-level positions at Ralph Lauren, focusing on the watch and jewelry sectors in Asia, and served as the Director of After-Sales Service for Greater China and Asia Pacific at Tiffany & Co. Tom founded and led an e-commerce start-up, Petit Sunshines Ltd., in Hong Kong. Prior experience includes a decade at K. MIKIMOTO & CO., LTD. in various merchandising roles. Tom holds a Master's in Technology Management from Georgetown University, an MBA in Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BA in Policy Management from Keio University.
