Emily Dam

Emily Dam has a diverse range of work experience starting with their role as a Youth In Policing Participant at Ottawa Police Service in 2016. Emily then worked as an After School Counselor at the Old Ottawa South Community Association while also being a Fun Expert at Funhaven Prime Entertainment Inc. in 2016-2018. In 2018-2019, Emily worked as a Cashier at Bulk Barn Foods Limited. Following that, they took on the role of Tearista Team Lead at The Alley from 2019 to 2022. In 2022, Emily interned as a Social Media & Content Marketing Coordinator at Willful. Currently, they are working as a Junior Social Media Specialist at Giatec | Smart Construction Solutions starting from June 2023.

Emily Dam attended George Brown College from 2021 to 2022, where they studied Digital Marketing. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Book & Media Studies from the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2021. In terms of additional certifications, Emily obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite in January 2022, as well as Google Analytics for Beginners and Google Ads Display Certifications from Google Analytics and Google Ads respectively in March 2022.
