Nesa Asoudeh

Nesa Asoudeh has extensive work experience as a software developer, with a focus on senior roles. They started their career in 2006 as a Junior Developer at FANAVA Group. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer at ITOrbit before joining Carleton University as a Research Assistant, Teacher Assistant, and later as an Instructor. During their time at Carleton, Nesa contributed to research on software testing and served on the program committee for a conference. In 2015, Nesa joined Irdeto as a Software Developer and later transitioned to a Senior Software Developer role. They worked on various projects until 2020 when they joined TechInsights as a Senior Software Developer. Currently, Nesa holds the position of Senior Software Developer at Giatec | Smart Construction Solutions, starting in 2021.

Nesa Asoudeh holds a Ph.D. in Computer Software Engineering from Carleton University, which was obtained from 2009 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Tehran from 2006 to 2009. Nesa also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their degrees, Nesa Asoudeh has obtained additional certifications. Nesa completed a course on "Communication Skills for Engineers" at Carleton University in March 2013. Nesa also completed a course titled "Preparing to Teach for PhD students" at Carleton University, though the specific month of completion is not provided.
