Suzanne Taylor has held a variety of roles in the publishing industry since 1989. Suzanne began their career as a Production Editor at KPMG Peat Marwick in 1989, before becoming a Specialty Books Editor at Dark Horse Comics in 1992. In 1998, they joined Gibbs Smith as Chief Creative Officer, Member Board Of Directors, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer, and Associate Publisher and Creative Director. In this role, they had responsibility for the acquisitions, development, design, and production of 75+ trade books each year. Suzanne also created the BabyLit, Pocketdoodles, and 101 Things To Do With brands as well as the LoveLit gift line. In 2009, they co-founded The General Store, Home of the Co-op Chicks. In 2015, they returned to Gibbs Smith as Publisher and Chief Creative Officer.
Suzanne Taylor attended Brigham Young University from 1984 to 1989 and earned a BA in Journalism, English, and Secondary Education.
