Asha Smith

Asha Smith has extensive experience in the recruitment and human resources sector, currently serving as the Americas Head of Learning & Development/Employee Engagement at GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, since November 2015. In this role, Asha manages the full lifecycle of employee engagement activities in the region and previously held the position of Global Head of Graduate Recruitment at GIC. Prior to GIC, Asha was the Head of Recruitment for APAC Services at the Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing recruitment processes across the Asia-Pacific region, and also served as the Resourcing Consultant for APAC Operations at RBS. Asha began a career in recruitment at Credit Suisse as a Campus Recruiter and was the MBA Prep Program Coordinator at Management Leadership for Tomorrow. Asha holds a BA from Wellesley College, completed a Coaching Certification Program at Columbia University, and attended the Woodrow Wilson School Junior Summer Institute at Princeton University.
