Cheng Liu

Cheng Liu has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Cheng started their career as a Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University in 2011, where they worked until 2014. Cheng then joined NEC Laboratories Singapore (NLS) as a Researcher from December 2014 to June 2016, and later became a Senior Data Scientist from July 2016 to March 2017. Cheng then moved on to Certis Group, where they held the position of Manager, Data Scientist from March 2017 to January 2018. Currently, Cheng is working at GIC, where they started as a Data Scientist, AVP in February 2018 and has now advanced to the role of Senior Data Scientist, VP since May 2020.

Cheng Liu possesses an extensive educational background in the field of Computer Science. From 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. Continuing their studies, Cheng pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it between 2004 and 2007. Finally, they furthered their expertise, acquiring a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they attained between 2007 and 2014.
