Eric Tan

Eric Tan is a Vice President at GIC, where they serve as a Technology Business partner for the Beta and Asset rebalancing business. They previously held roles at Barclays, including positions as an Analyst in Risk and Analytics Technology and Commodities Derivatives Risk Technology, and contributed significantly to trade capture systems and risk platform migrations. Their career began in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Company 2nd in Command and Platoon Commander, where they received an award for outstanding performance. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, where they also contributed as a Research Engineer and patented an invention.
