Igor Baskin

Igor Baskin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and management roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at GIC since July 2019, Igor previously held positions as Vice President at the same firm. Prior experience includes a tenure at CVC Capital Partners from April 2012 to July 2019 as Director, Investment Director, and Investment Executive. Igor began a career in finance as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse from March 2010 to March 2012 and gained early experience as an Analyst at Farley Capital from June 2008 to March 2010. Igor also served as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University during 2007 and completed an internship at GE Transportation in the summer of 2007. Igor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where studies were completed from 2004 to 2008, and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
