Jax

Jax Xie Jianxin has held various roles throughout their work experience. Jax, Xie started their career at StarHub Ltd in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Product Executive, managing cross-platform value-added services such as StarHub Music. Jax, Xie was responsible for driving new initiatives, managing partnerships, and developing user-centric UI for StarHub Music.

In 2012, Jax joined Dijit as a Product Manager, overseeing product development and management. Jax, Xie then moved on to StarHub, where they took on the role of Lead Data Analyst and later became a Senior Product Executive, from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they worked on data analysis and product lifecycle management.

In 2014, Jax co-founded Gadget Trader and served as a full-stack programmer for the web platform. Jax, Xie utilized technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Python for backend development and HTML5, Bootstrap, Javascript, and CSS 3.0 for frontend development.

Jax also worked as a Data Scientist at Cargill in 2016 and as a Founder at GameTrader.SG in 2010, establishing an online marketplace and community for gamers in Singapore.

Currently, Jax is working at GIC since 2017. Jax, Xie started as a Senior Quantitative Strategist and is now a VP Quantitative Strategist, leading the corporate credit Strats team and utilizing quantitative methodologies for analyzing the corporate credit portfolio.

Overall, Jax has diverse work experience, ranging from product management and data analysis to programming and quantitative strategy.

Jax, Xie Jianxin obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore in the years 2007-2010. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during 2009. They have also obtained several certifications in the field of Data Science, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 from the CFA Institute in 2019 and various Coursera certificates in Data Science and related topics between 2014 and 2016.
