Marvin Tan holds a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Economics from Singapore Management University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Masters of Engineering in Engineering at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2001 to 2003. Marvin also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (1st Class Honours, Accelerated) in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Before pursuing higher education, Marvin completed their GCE "A" Levels at Raffles Institution in 1994 and their GIC "O" Level at the same institution from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, they have certifications as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and as a Certified Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
