Melissa Ong is currently the Head of Data Governance at GIC, where they are a member of the Data Strategy Group leadership team. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Data Governance Product at GIC and held senior managerial positions focused on risk data quality at Standard Chartered Bank from 2014 to 2022. Melissa began their career as an intern in Information Technology at Morgan Stanley in 2000. They also have prior experience in trading risk reporting and control at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. In education, Melissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science at Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney.
