Su Ling Chee has a diverse and extensive work experience. Su Ling initially worked at DBS Bank in the Risk Management Group from May 1997 to September 1999. Su Ling then joined GIC and worked in the Risk & Performance Management Department from October 1999 to August 2002. In 2003, they served as a Graduate Tutor at the National University of Singapore. Su Ling returned to GIC in 2005 and held various positions, including Manager in the Investment Data & Valuation Department from November 2005 to April 2007, Senior Business Manager in the Investment Policy & Strategy Department from May 2007 to March 2011, and finally as Senior Vice President in Total Portfolio Policy & Allocation, Economics & Investment Strategy from April 2011 to present.

Su Ling Chee is a PhD candidate in Finance at the National University of Singapore's Business School. Su Ling holds a Certificate in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Su Ling also has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics and Statistics from the National University of Singapore. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Su Ling Chee completed their GCE 'A' Levels at Temasek Junior College. Additionally, they have obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in the Mechanics of Private Equity from Middlesex University and is a certified Financial Risk Manager through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
