Taran Khera

Taran Khera is currently the Managing Director and Head of the Data Strategy Group at GIC, overseeing the Central Data Office focused on enhancing operational and growth strategies through data and analytics solutions, and promoting the use of AI and Machine Learning across the Investments Business. Prior to this role, Taran Khera served as the Global Head of Data Content, Acquisition & Exchanges at Bloomberg LP, where responsibilities included leading a team in driving global data strategy and managing market data acquisition, with a focus on Alternative Data, Research Modelling, and ESG. Taran Khera has held various regional sales leadership positions across Asia Pacific and the Middle East within Bloomberg, covering multiple countries and managing diverse client bases. Taran Khera holds an MSc in Operational Research and Management Sciences from Aston University and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, along with studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at Monash University.
