Thongchie Shang is a strategic thought-leader and seasoned executive who currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Enterprise Strategy at GIC. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Global Leadership Group, Shang leads strategic planning to align investment plans and build business capabilities. Previously, they held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Wealth Management Transformation at Standard Chartered Bank from 2015 to 2018 and also gained experience at various Singaporean ministries and McKinsey & Company. Shang holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Stanford University.
