Wang Jian, CFA, FRM, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and risk analysis. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at GIC since April 2020, Wang Jian previously held the position of Senior Associate in Portfolio Management at PIMCO, focusing on EMAsia rates and FX from January 2016 to April 2020. Prior to that, a Risk Analyst and Graduate Analyst role at Barclays Investment Bank was undertaken from July 2013 to January 2016. Wang Jian began the career with an internship at ExxonMobil in 2012. Academically, Wang Jian holds a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering with a minor in computing from Nanyang Technological University.
