Yu Li

Yu Li is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Managing Director at GIC since October 2007, with a distinguished role as Head of GIC Shanghai Office since 2019 and Head of GIC RE Greater China since 2021. Prior to this, Yu Li worked as an Economist at the Asian Development Bank from August 2005 to September 2007. Yu Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Urban and Regional Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in City Planning and Design from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, Yu Li earned Bachelor's Degrees in Architecture and Economics from Tsinghua University.
