Amanda Ang

Amanda Ang is an accomplished tax professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Tax Policies & Governance for Investment Services and Private Markets at GIC since October 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford from March 2023 to September 2023, and as an International Tax Manager at Expedia Group from October 2019 to March 2022. Amanda's background in mergers and acquisitions tax was developed at PwC over four years, where roles included Manager and Senior Consultant. Earlier career experience includes an Associate position in Business Tax Services at EY and an Audit Internship at the same firm. Amanda began her career as a Mathematics Teacher at Methodist Girls' School in 2010. Academically, Amanda achieved a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation with Distinction from the University of Oxford and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
