Benjamin Chan

Benjamin Chan is a seasoned professional in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with extensive experience across various industries. Since March 2019, Benjamin has served as Lead of IAM operations and governance at GIC, overseeing the development and implementation of IAM controls and frameworks. Previously, in the role of Assistant Vice President, Benjamin implemented significant governance improvements, including the creation of an Access Control Matrix and the ideation of the Segregation of Duties program. Prior to GIC, Benjamin's career included roles as a Technology Consultant at Accenture, an Identity Management Architect at Telstra International Group, and a Technical Consultant at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, contributing valuable expertise in cybersecurity and identity management. Benjamin began a technical career as a Systems Engineer at MediaCorp Pte Ltd, managing various IT infrastructure components. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology and has foundational education from Singapore Polytechnic.
