Daniel Hui currently serves as Senior Vice President of Macro Research and Strategy at GIC since April 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at J.P. Morgan from July 2012 to April 2022, including Executive Director of Global FX Strategy and Head of EM Asia FX Strategy. Daniel's earlier experience includes serving as Senior FX Strategist for Asia at HSBC from March 2007 to April 2012 and as an Economist focused on ASEAN and Greater China Macro at JPMorgan from 2005 to 2007. Daniel began the career as a Software Engineer at Sapient Corp from 1999 to 2001, where project management and technical solutions were key responsibilities. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International Economics and China Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Science from Amherst College. Daniel also attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hopkins-Nanjing School of Chinese and American Studies.
