Derrick Oh

Derrick Oh is an experienced Data Engineer currently serving as an Assistant Vice President in the Data Strategy Group at GIC since August 2019. Derrick has contributed to the modernization of enterprise data projects, aligning existing systems with evolving investment data landscapes, and supporting critical decision-making processes. Previous roles at GIC included liaising with external stakeholders for enterprise portfolio entitlement setups and performing requirement gathering and impact analysis for backend design setups. Additionally, Derrick has developed and implemented data solutions using Oracle PLSQL and Informatica, optimizing data processing and enhancing data security through automation. Prior to GIC, Derrick worked as an IT Consultant at FDM Group and completed a Quality Control Internship at Heraeus Materials Singapore. Derrick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and completed A Levels at Pioneer Junior College.
