Jason Chan

Jason Chan is a seasoned professional in infrastructure asset management with extensive experience across various markets, including Asia Pacific, the Middle East, South Africa, and the Americas. Currently serving as Senior Portfolio Director at GIC since September 2020, Jason oversees asset management responsibilities for the region. Jason holds multiple board positions, including roles at Greenko Energy Holdings, Altius Investment Trust, Sinopec Green Energy Geothermal Development, and Bingo Industries. Previous leadership roles include Senior Vice President at Sembcorp Industries Ltd, overseeing substantial P&L responsibilities and environmental sustainability initiatives, as well as significant tenures in asset management and business development within the Sembcorp group. Jason's educational background includes an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
