Jason Young has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jason started their career at Goldman Sachs in 2004, where they worked in investment banking for the tech, media, and telecom industries. In 2006, they joined Silver Lake Partners as a Principal and worked there until 2013.
After leaving Silver Lake Partners, Young became the Managing Director and Head of the Direct Investments Group for North America at GIC. During their time at GIC, they also served as a board member for several companies including Turnitin, BMC Software, Neustar Inc., Refinitiv, and Veritas Technologies LLC.
In addition to their roles at GIC and various board memberships, Young has also been an Advisory Board Member for Analytics at Wharton and a Board Member for Valtech.
Jason Young attended The Wharton School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance. Jason also attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree, though the field of study is unspecified.
