Lisa Tan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Counsel at GIC since October 2022. Prior to this role, Lisa worked as an Associate at Allen & Overy from March 2019 to September 2022 and at WongPartnership LLP from December 2015 to March 2019, where Lisa also began as a Practice Trainee. Lisa's early career included legal internships at Rajah & Tann Asia, Clifford Chance, and WongPartnership LLP. In addition to legal practice, Lisa contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at the National University of Singapore. Lisa holds dual degrees in Law and Social Sciences (Economics) from the National University of Singapore, completed between 2010 and 2015, and has foundational education from Raffles Institution and Raffles Girls' School.
